Priority is given to African-American students. Scholarship Applications are made available during the fall semester. Students are encouraged to apply during the spring semester. Applications are reviewed and recipients are notified of the scholarship award for the following academic year. Scholarship recipients are recognized at the Annual MCBAA African-American Student Convocation along with the African-American graduates within the Maricopa County Community College District.
